The new residential building is located in Gudo, in the Canton of Ticino. The building extends over four above-ground levels, including the ground floor, and houses a total of 28 apartments divided into 3 ½-room and 2 ½-room units.

The ground floor features open corridors designed to promote visual and functional permeability of the area, contributing to a harmonious integration with the surrounding environment. The floor plan is symmetrical along the central North-South axis, where the staircase and elevator shaft are located. The building’s location, the arrangement of the outdoor spaces, and the internal layout were all designed with the primary goal of ensuring full accessibility and eliminating any architectural barriers.

A basement level completes the complex, housing a shelter, private cellars, technical rooms, shared laundry facilities, and an underground garage with 39 parking spaces, including an area designated for motorcycles.

The design of the apartments places strong emphasis on solar orientation. Living areas mainly face south, featuring large openings and terraces to ensure optimal natural lighting. Access to the units is provided through a central corridor branching from the building’s core, which includes the staircase and elevator.
