The project involves the construction of a new holiday chalet for a single family in Les Hoches, part of the Chamonix valley, France.
Developed through two main bodies to take at best advantage of the view on the northern side of Mont Blanc, it presents a concrete basement floor housing the garage and technical spaces. The two upper floors, with a X-Lam structure, house instead a wide living and kitchen area and three bedrooms.
The exterior appearance, similar to that of a traditional chalet because of the strict urban regulations of the valley, strikes a contrast with the interior, modern and with a wide double-height space.
The chalet will be fully clad in wood and presents ample windows, both in the living area and the bedrooms.
The architectural project was developed by Architect Annalisa Marzorati, Milan.
